terrible product July 20, 2010 linda What a disappointment! It splashed water (with the level at indicated point); it sounded like a vacuum cleaner and could be heard 2 doors down through closed doors. It does NOT heat water but claims to keep warm water warm. I didn't get the chance to find out as I was dodging the shower of water and turned it off quickly. Just to be clear - we did try to work with it...changing water levels and settings etc. - no improvement.
have sent it back. paying shipping of course. haven't gotten confirmation of refund.
not warm long enough July 2, 2010 Sean Wolfe 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found that the unit doesn't keep the water warm much longer than a bucket. I filled the tub with hot water, but I didn't get the 'oooh ahhh' foot bath feeling for very long before it was over and I was headed back to the sink for more hot water.
I was able to return for a partial refund and I'm trying the Brookstone unit now.
A Waste of Money June 11, 2010 Sore Feet (Florida) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am so disappointed in this product. I read the good reviews and expected a lovely, warm soothing foot bath. The water grew tepid almost instantaneously from the hot that I put in. It sprayed a significant amount of water on the floor in the brief time that I used it. All the "things" that it does? It has two: on and off. Don't bother. I want my money back.
Turned out to be a great Mother's Day gift! June 6, 2010 R. Dickson Mom is happy, especially with the different attachments included. I would definitely recommended this product!
An expensive paperweight April 15, 2010 D. Gleason 29 out of 30 found this review helpful
Let's start off with the misleading product reviews. Apparently the seller changed the item they sold from one that heats the water to a cheaper product that doesn't heat the water. It is now just "Keep Warm Heat." They didn't remove the glowing reviews however, and if you're not careful, you'll think you are ordering the better unit. The majority of the reviews for this product are for a product that is not actually being sold. I'm pretty sure that's not how product reviews are supposed to work.
Not only that, but the downgraded product doesn't even do what it is is actually supposed to do - "Keep Warm Heat." I put hot water into it, ran the product, and ended up with cold water and cold feet. And the three spa attachments don't stay on. Apply a little pressure from your foot (as directed) and they pop right off and fly across the room.
So I paid for a product based on reviews for a different product, and ended up with a paperweight that doesn't even work as well as the standard bathtub that came free with my house. And this product is significantly pricier than its competitors.
Don't waste your money.
